1216 GMT - Traders are speculating that bitcoin could rise above $100,000 as Donald Trump is headed towards a victory in the U.S. presidential election, AJ Bell's Russ Mould says. Bitcoin rises 8% to $74,670 after briefly hitting a record high of $75,389 earlier, according to LSEG. "Trump has already declared his love of the digital currency and crypto traders now have a new narrative by which to get even more excited about where the price could go," he says in a note.
