New Fortress Energy (NFE) is looking for strategic partners for one or more of its primary businesses as it seeks to enhance its liquidity and financial flexibility, the company said in a regulatory filing Tuesday.
The company said it is seeking partners for its projects in Brazil, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Mexico, and Nicaragua, as well as its FLNG 1 facility and Klondike business.
New Fortress said it expects to explore financings, commercial ventures or asset sales with potential strategic partners.
Shares of the company were up more than 4% in recent trading.
