0940 GMT - DHL owner Deutsche Post posted third-quarter results in line with pre-announced results but volume trends were mixed, Stifel analyst Johannes Braun says in a research note. The German logistics group posted a quarterly EBIT that came in at 1.37 billion euros, 4% below expectations. Express volumes were clearly worse and so were the German letter volumes, but forwarding volumes were clearly better, Braun says. On top of that, fourth quarter peak season trading looks fine, as the company cites a normal ramp-up in domestic market and a high compliance rate on Express demand surcharge, the analyst says. Shares trade 2.75% lower at 36.32 euros.(nina.kienle@wsj.com)
