Pentamaster International Records Lower Attributable Profit for Q3

Pentamaster International's (HKG:1665) attributable profit dropped to 26.1 million Malaysian ringgit, or 0.0110 ringgit per share, in the third quarter from 36.5 million ringgit, or 0.0153 ringgit per share, in the year-ago period, a Thursday filing said.

Revenue at the Malaysian automation technology provider fell to 150.1 million ringgit from 180.7 million ringgit a year prior.

For the nine months ended Sept. 30, attributable profit fell to 88.8 million ringgit, or 0.0373 ringgit per share, from 108.4 million ringgit, or 0.0454 ringgit per share, a year earlier.

Revenue decreased to 492.2 million ringgit from 522.8 million ringgit in the previous year.
