Royal Philips Gets FDA Clearance for Spectral Computed Tomography Radiotherapy Solution

Royal Philips (PHG) said Tuesday it received FDA 510(k) clearance for its Spectral CT 7500 RT, a computed tomography solution designed for personalized cancer radiotherapy.

The system combines traditional and spectral CT imaging, allowing oncologists to target tumors more precisely and reduce exposure to surrounding healthy tissue.

Shares of the company fell more than 1% in recent trading.
