BAE Currency Headwinds Ease Amid Stronger Dollar -- Market Talk

Dow Jones11-12

1114 GMT - BAE Systems currency headwinds are easing for now, says AJ Bell investment director Russ Mould. The resurgence in the dollar since the election of Donald Trump as the next U.S. president is a relief for the company, which has high exposure to the U.S. market, he says. This should assuage currency headwinds for the remaining weeks of 2024, Mould adds. The U.K. defense company has maintained a solid trajectory since Russia's large-scale invasion of Ukraine in early 2022, with shares more then doubling, he notes. Shares are up 0.39% at 13.99 pounds.
