Ryde Group (RYDE) said Monday it has extended its partnership with Singlife to implement a Work Injury Compensation Act protection plan for platform workers, effective Jan. 1.
This collaboration provides ride-hailing app's driver-partners with "financial security and peace of mind," while facing potential road risks.
Coverage includes lump-sum compensation in case of permanent incapacity, current incapacity, or death; medical leave wages; and payment of work-related accident medical expenses.
