Macquarie Bank Acquires Nearly 6 Million Warrants of NG Energy International

Macquarie Group's (ASX:MQG) Macquarie Bank acquired 5.7 million bonus warrants of Toronto Stock Exchange-listed NG Energy International to expand the natural gas explorer and producer's line of credit facility, the financial group said in a statement Friday.

Each warrant is priced at CA$0.98 and can be converted into NG Energy International's common shares on a one-for-one basis until Dec. 29, 2028, the group said.

After the acquisition, Macquarie will own and control about 11.7% of NG Energy International's common shares.

Macquarie Group's shares fell 1% in recent Monday trade.
