China Longyuan Power (HKG:0916, SHE:001289) recorded 5.9 million megawatt hours of power generation in October, up 8.2% from 5.4 million MWh in the prior year, according to a Hong Kong Stock Exchange filing on Nov. 8.
Wind and renewable energy power generation during the month both jumped 24% and 68%, respectively, year on year.
Between January and October, the Chinese power company's power generation rose 2.9% to 62.7 million MWh from almost 61 million MWh a year earlier, the filing added.
The company's Hong Kong shares fell less than 2% and Shenzhen shares rose less than 2% in recent trade.
