T2 Biosystems Shares Fall After Company Receives Nasdaq Non-Compliance Notice

T2 Biosystems (TTOO) shares were down by more than 9% in recent Friday trading after the company said it received a Nasdaq non-compliance notice.

The notification stated that the market value of the company's listed securities no longer meets the $35 million minimum required for continued listing on the Nasdaq Capital Market, the company said.

T2 Biosystems said it was not granted any grace period but plans to request for a new hearing before the Nasdaq Hearings Panel, which will stay further action pending the panel's decision and the expiration of any extension that may be granted as a result of the hearing.
