1036 GMT - Air France-KLM faces headwinds this year but less turbulence can be expected from 2025, UBS analyst Jarrod Castle says in a research note. The Franc-Dutch carrier's third-quarter results missed expectations but some of the pressure on the company is beyond its control, the analyst says. The group was hurt in the quarter when customers avoided traveling to Paris during the Olympics and by worse-than-expected costs at KLM, Castle says. Next year could offer potential improvement due to better cost controls and efforts at KLM to redress the airline, he says. In addition, higher fourth-quarter load factors on year and a supply-constrained environment ought to be positive for the company's 2025 revenue outlook, Castle adds. Shares trade 0.6% higher to 7.82 euros. (pierre.bertrand@wsj.com)
