Teledyne Technologies' FLIR Defense Unit Wins $168 Million Contract With US Army

Teledyne Technologies' (TDY) Teledyne FLIR Defense unit said Tuesday that it won a five-year, $168.3 million contract with the US Army to upgrade the M1135 Stryker's Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Reconnaissance Vehicle, or NBCRV, sensor suite.

Teledyne FLIR said it also received its first delivery order, worth $7.5 million and that work on the NBCRV program will continue through 2029 at company facilities in Stillwater, Oklahoma, Elkridge, Maryland, and Tucson, Arizona.

The company said it is leading the effort to modernize the Army's NBCRV system with advanced, autonomous chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear sensors.
