Tesla $(TSLA)$: The electric-vehicle maker's shares gained almost 3% in premarket trading. The stock has soared since Donald Trump's election win, and climbed 9% Monday. Chief Executive Elon Musk has been a key Trump ally.

SoftBank (JP:9984): The technology conglomerate, run by investor Masayoshi Son, returned to profit last quarter, notching $7.7 billion in net earnings.

Bayer (XE:BAYN): The German drug maker and chemicals company cut its full-year outlook, following a bigger-than-expected third-quarter loss. Shares slumped 11%.

Earnings from Home Depot $(HD)$ and Tyson Foods are due before the bell.
