TPG Telecom (ASX:TPG) received the MEF 3.0 SD-WAN certification for its Fortinet SD-WAN services, the telecom company said in a statement Monday.
The company's 5G SD-WAN technology uses a combination of 5G and fixed-line networks to offer connectivity for cloud applications and business-critical services, according to the statement.
MEF, a global association of network, cloud, security, and technology providers, provides MEF 3.0 certification, a method for organizations to confirm compliance with industry-led standards for services and technology used in enterprise digital transformation, the company said.
TPG Telecom's shares fell more than 1% in morning trade Tuesday.
