MSA Safety (MSA) said Thursday that it won a 10-year, $33 million contract to provide the US Coast Guard with new firefighter respiratory protective equipment.
The company said the contract covers the supply of its G1 Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus to the US Coast Guard's operational surface fleet and surface support facilities.
MSA said it has received initial orders worth $22 million under the contract and production of the breathing apparatus units is underway at its facility in Pennsylvania.
