Moderna, Pfizer Stocks Fall After Reports of RFK Jr. Nomination -- WSJ

Shares of vaccine-makers fell after reports that Donald Trump is expected to nominate vaccine skeptic Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to lead the Department of Health and Human Services.

Shares of Moderna $(MRNA)$ and Pfizer dropped almost immediately after the initial report by Politico, then rebounded slightly. As of Thursday's market close, Moderna's stock fell 5.6% and Pfizer $(PFE)$ was down 2.6%.

"We're not going to take vaccines away from anybody," Kennedy said in an interview following Trump's victory.
