Zillow Group named Jun Choo as its chief operating officer, at the same time announcing that two company executives have stepped down from their positions.

In the operating chief role, Choo will oversee the real-estate marketplace operator's for-sale business strategy and operations, in addition to its real-estate industry product lines, sales and operations, the company said Thursday. He joined the company in 2015 through its acquisition of Trulia, having most recently served as its senior vice president of real estate software.

Jeremy Wacksman, who was named the company's top executive in August, most recently held the operating chief role.

Also on Thursday, the company said President Susan Daimler and Senior Vice President of Product Matt Daimler have decided to leave their respective roles.
