Doosan Enerbility Signs Deal with Korea Southern Power to Replace Eight Gas Turbine Casings; Shares Rise 4%

Doosan Enerbility (KRX:034020) signed a contract with Korea Electric Power Corporation subsidiary (KRX:015760) Korea Southern Power to replace eight gas turbine casings at the Shinincheon Combined Cycle Power Plant.

The South Korean heavy industrial company will oversee the full casing replacement process for this project, using local expertise across all stages--from design and material production to installation--with support from 13 local small and medium-sized partners, the company said in a Wednesday release.

Shares of Doosan Enerbility rose nearly 4% in recent trade on Thursday.
