President-elect Donald Trump's selection of vaccine skeptic Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as health secretary weighed on global pharmaceutical stocks Friday.

-- In Europe, shares in Bavarian Nordic fell more than 15%. Pharma heavyweights AstraZeneca, GSK and Sanofi dropped 2.5% or more.

-- In the U.S., Moderna stock fell premarket. It and Pfizer dropped Thursday in regular trading, after news of RFK Jr.'s likely appointment emerged.
