Coronado Global Resources' (ASX:CRN) Coronado Curragh subsidiary is facing charges issued in the Magistrates Court District of Emerald over the death of an employee at its Curragh Mine Complex in Queensland in November 2021, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
Clark Peadon was fatally injured while working in the mine's dragline operations, an earlier filing showed.
The company is reviewing the charges, it said in the filing.
Shares fell nearly 2% in midday trade Thursday.
