In addition, the U.S. Space Force uses Atlassian's Confluence and Jira products.\nThe IBD Big Cap 20 name ranks No. 3 out of 37 stocks in the Computer Software-Specialty Enterprise industry group, which is No. 36 out of 197 IBD industry groups.\nAtlassian Stock Nears Buy Point\nShares jumped 19% in heavy volume after the company topped fiscal first-quarter adjusted earnings and sales the evening of Oct. 31. The stock is completing the right side of a long, deep cup base with a 258.69 buy point, which is also its 52-week high.\nThe stock's post-earnings run-up pushed its Relative Strength Rating to 92 from a weak 24 four weeks ago.\nHowever, Atlassian has a long ways to go to get back to its all-time high of 483.13 reached in October 2021.\n\nSolid Sales Continue\nAtlassian's fiscal Q1 profit grew 18% after a 16% gain in the previous quarter. Growth is slowing compared to the prior four robust quarters ranging from 62% to 111%. The trend looks to continue for two more quarters, with FactSet's December-ending quarter's forecast calling for a 2% earnings increase, then a 4% dip in the March-ending quarter.\nThe company also announced a new share repurchase program of up to $1.5 billion of common stock following the completion of the current $1 billion program.\nIts sales growth has remained consistent, with a quarterly average of around 23% over the last eight quarters.
