Emperador's (SGX:EMI, PSE:EMI) net income attributable to owners tumbled to 981 million Philippines pesos in the third quarter of the year, from 2.05 billion pesos a year ago, according to a Thursday bourse filing.
Revenues and other income for the three months ended Sept. 30 also fell to 14.6 billion pesos, from 16.0 billion pesos in the year-ago period.
The global brandy and whisky conglomerate attributed the drop in performance to the softening of demand for alcohol products amid higher inflation.
