Molina Healthcare Plans Private Offering of Senior Notes Worth $500 Million

Molina Healthcare (MOH) said Wednesday it plans to offer senior notes due 2033 worth $500 million in a private offering.

Net proceeds from the senior notes will be used to repay debt, finance acquisitions, share repurchases, working capital, general corporate purposes and capital contributions to meet statutory requirements, the company said.

The company's shares were down about 2.2% in recent Wednesday trading.
