Axon Gets Contract to Supply Royal Canadian Mounted Police With Body-Worn Cameras

Axon (AXON) said Thursday it won a contract to supply the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, or RCMP, with body-worn cameras and an evidence-management system.

The contract was awarded by the Public Services and Procurement Canada, according to the company.

After the deployment is finished, RCMP will distribute over 10,000 Axon Body 4 body-worn cameras to police officers, the company said.

The RCMP will also use the company's Axon Evidence system to store, manage and share evidentiary data, Axon added.
