Dow Jones11-14 17:41

0941 GMT - The rise in U.K. government-bond yields following the autumn budget may "have gone too far," HSBC's Daniela Russell says in a note. Yields on gilts accelerated and prices fell following an announcement on a planned increase in gilt supply during the budget statement on Oct. 30. "We think the re-pricing has gone too far," she says. The 10-year gilt yield is up 24 basis points to last trade at 4.540%, up from around 4.300% prior to the budget statement, Tradeweb data show. The 2-year gilt yield is up around 24bps to 4.488%. (miriam.mukuru@wsj.com)
