Charles Schwab (SCHW) said Thursday its total client assets reached $9.85 trillion in October, up 29% year-over-year and down 1% sequentially.
Core net new assets brought to the company were $24.6 billion in October, up 118% from a year earlier and down 27% compared with September, the company said.
New brokerage accounts reached 331,000 in October, up 17% year-over-year and 3% higher month-over-month, the company said.
Charles Schwab shares were up 4.5% in recent premarket activity.
