De Grey Mining (ASX:DEX) expanded its mineral resource estimate at the Hemi project in Western Australia to 11.2 million ounces (Moz), up by 700,000 ounces since November 2023, according to a filing with the Australian bourse.
The new estimate includes 264 million tonnes at 1.3 grams per tonne (g/t) gold for a total of 11.2 Moz.
The mineral resource estimate grew at about 1.3 Moz per annum since the first MRE was released in June 2021, the filing said.
Drilling at Hemi has identified opportunities to increase mine life and annual gold production rate.
De Grey Mining's Share fell over 2% at market close.
