Dow Jones11-14 18:22

1020 GMT - Markets could be underpricing the size and speed of interest-rate cuts by the Bank of England, HSBC's Daniela Russell says in a note. Markets price in 56 basis points in BOE rate cuts by the end of 2025, LSEG Refinitiv data shows. HSBC economists expect six interest-rate cuts of 25 basis points each from the BOE in 2025. "However, with the outlook uncertain, and given the BOE is following a meeting-by-meeting approach, it may take time for a renewed rally to really take hold," Russell says.
