MT Newswires Live11-13

Health care stocks rose in Wednesday's pre-bell activity with the Health Care Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLV) 0.3% higher and the iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) up 1.4% recently.

Progyny (PGNY) shares fell 13% after the company lowered its 2024 guidance for adjusted earnings per share and revenue.

Guardian Pharmacy Services (GRDN) shares were down nearly 10% after the company reported a Q3 loss of $2 per share.

Amgen (AMGN) shares rose past 3% after the company said it found no connection between its potential once-monthly weight-loss injection MariTide and bone density loss. The statement was issued in response to media reports that some analysts voiced concern that an early-stage trial of the potential weight-loss drug suggested it caused bone-density losses as a side effect.
