Liberty Media CEO Greg Maffei to Step Down

Liberty Media (FWONA) said Wednesday that Chief Executive Officer Greg Maffei will step down at the end of 2024 once his contract expires.

The company said that Chairman John Malone will assume the role of interim CEO and will work closely with the executive team and the board to ensure a seamless transition.

Maffei will be a senior advisor effective Jan. 1 to support the management transition, Liberty Media said.
