A consortium led by Shenyang Aluminum, a subsidiary of China Aluminum International Engineering (SHA:601068, HKG:2068), or Chalieco, signed the general contracting deal for the 350,000-ton green aluminum project in Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia, China.
The contract was worth about 2.80 billion yuan, with a construction period of 720 days, according to a Wednesday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
The consortium previously won the bid back in September.
Shares of the construction and equipment manufacturing company were down 1% in recent trade.
