Rockwell Automation (ROK) and Microsoft (MSFT) said Tuesday they have expanded a partnership to offer cloud and AI solutions to manufacturing customers.
Financial details weren't disclosed.
The collaboration combines Rockwell's automation experience with Microsoft's cloud and AI capabilities.
Among the offerings is Azure Internet of Things Operations, which will allow manufacturers to glean analytical insights from existing facilities with minimal retrofitting, and FactoryTalk Design Studio Copilot, which allows engineers to use natural language prompts for tasks.
