Dow Jones11-19

1236 ET - Investors poured into Canadian uranium stocks after Russia said it would pause shipments to the U.S. The move shows the volatility of the metal needed to run nuclear power plants, especially when provided from a country in the midst of a war. The big winners of the developments included Canada's Denison Mines, Energy Fuels, NexGen Energy. These stocks have been gaining strongly in recent months as interest in nuclear energy has reignited. Most recently, nuclear power has been floated as a solution to the big energy needs of AI and the data centers that run them. (adriano.marchese@wsj.com)
