Carvana (CVNA) said Wednesday it plans to add inspection and reconditioning center, or IRC, capabilities at its ADESA Boston wholesale auction site.
All digital and in-lane auction operations will remain after the integration, which is expected to increase the facility's total reconditioning capacity, Carvana said.
The company also said it has already begun hiring new IRC associates and expects the transition to create around 200 new jobs in the area over time.
