** President-elect Donald Trump said on Saturday that oil and gas industry executive Chris Wright would be his pick to lead the Department of Energy
** Wright is the founder and CEO of Liberty Energy
** He is a defender of fossil fuel use and is expected to support Trump's plan to maximize production of oil and gas
** Other oil-stocks are muted in pre-market trading
** Oil majors Exxon Mobil XOM.N and Chevron CVX.N rise 0.4% and 0.6%, respectively
** Oil and gas producer Occidental OXY.N up 0.5%
** Brent crude futures LCOc1 up 0.8%, while WTI crude futures CLc1 up 0.6%
** As of last close, LBRT was down about 7% YTD
