China Southern Airlines' (HKG:1055, SHA:600029) passenger capacity increased 8.8% in October from a year prior, a Friday Hong Kong bourse filing said.
International passenger capacity climbed 46%, while domestic and regional passenger capacity saw a 0.2% and 9.7% increase, respectively.
Passenger traffic rose by 16%, with domestic and international passenger traffic increasing by 7% and 25%, respectively. The passenger load factor was nearly 87% in October, a 5.57 percentage point boost from the previous corresponding period.
Cargo capacity increased 2% yearly, with cargo and mail traffic rising nearly 6.7%. The cargo and mail load factor stood at nearly 52%, up 2.29 percentage points from a year prior.
