Sector Update: Financial Stocks Edge Higher Pre-Bell Monday

Financial stocks were edging higher pre-bell Monday as the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF) recently advanced by 0.1%.

The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was up 0.2% and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was 0.2% lower.

Corpay (CPAY) shares were slightly higher after the company said its Cross-Border business has extended its partnership with World Aquatics as the latter's official foreign exchange payment supplier.

Apollo Global Management (APO) shares were up over 1% after the company said it has opened an office in Seoul and has appointed Jay Hyun Lee as head of Korea.

JPMorgan Chase (JPM) is exploring options for its European headquarters in London's Canary Wharf financial district, Reuters reported, citing three people familiar with the plan. JPMorgan Chase shares were up 0.3% pre-bell.
