Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) and the National Basketball Association agreed to extend their media partnership for another 11 years, the NBA said Monday.
Financial details weren't disclosed.
The expanded partnership will promote NBA content and accelerate the growth of Warner Bros. Discovery's TNT Sports, Bleacher Report, and House of Highlights. Warner Bros. Discovery's will also secure global rights for NBA games in several territories outside the US, the NBA said.
Starting in 2025, "Inside the NBA" will air on Walt Disney's (DIS) ESPN and ABC, while Warner Bros. Discovery will also broadcast Big 12 football and men's basketball, along with NBA games in the Nordics, Poland, and Latin America.
The agreement also reimagines the NBA Digital partnership for five seasons, allowing the NBA to use Warner Bros. Discovery's promotion, production, and sales services, the NBA said.
Shares of Warner Bros. Discovery were up nearly 4% in recent Monday trading.
