Energy
iShares US Energy ETF (IYE) lost 0.3%, and Energy Select Sector SPDR (XLE) was down 0.4%.
Technology
Technology Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLK) rose 0.3%; iShares US Technology ETF (IYW) and iShares Expanded Tech Sector ETF (IGM) were higher.
SPDR S&P Semiconductor (XSD) gained 0.7%, and iShares Semiconductor (SOXX) dipped 0.4%.
Financial
Financial Select Sector SPDR (XLF) fell 0.4%. Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was down 1.2%, and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) gained 1.4%.
Commodities
Crude oil was up 0.3%, and United States Oil Fund (USO) rose 0.2%. Natural gas edged up 2.8%, while the United States Natural Gas Fund (UNG) was up 2.8%.
Gold added 0.7% on Comex, and SPDR Gold Shares (GLD) gained 0.7%. Silver rose 0.3%, while iShares Silver Trust (SLV) was 0.2% higher.
Consumer
Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR (XLP) rose 0.3%; Vanguard Consumer Staples ETF (VDC) and iShares Dow Jones US Consumer Goods (IYK) were mixed, with the latter declining.
Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR (XLY) added 0.1%; retail fund VanEck Vectors Retail ETF (RTH) edged up fractionally while SPDR S&P Retail (XRT) fell 0.6%.
Health Care
Health Care Select Sector SPDR (XLV) moved down 0.4%, while iShares US Healthcare (IYH) and Vanguard Health Care ETF (VHT) were lower. IShares NASDAQ Biotechnology ETF (IBB) eased 0.1%.
Industrial
Select Sector SPDR-Industrial (XLI) fell 0.1%, Vanguard Industrials (VIS) and iShares US Industrials (IYJ) were mixed, with the latter edging lower.
