CME Group (CME) said Tuesday that it plans to add mortgage rate futures in January, pending a regulatory review.
The company said the mortgage rate futures, which are cash-settled contracts that provide exposure to the primary mortgage rate available to borrowers, will be available on its CME Globex trading platform.
