NVent Electric (NVT) said Monday it is working with Nvidia (NVDA) to scale production of liquid cooling devices to improve performance and efficiency of Nvidia's computer chips and platforms for use in artificial intelligence applications and data centers.
The UK-based electronic components manufacturer is expecting to make customized liquid-to-air heat exchangers and manifolds to cool Nvidia NVL36 and NVL72 servers, helping data center designers save time during design and implementation.
The companies previously partnered on the Open Compute Project to design data centers using open-source architecture and easing supply chain bottlenecks and improving reliability.
Nvidia shares were 1.3% lower during afternoon trading, while nVent was up marginally.
