Ng, who has a hold rating and $100 price target on Beacon (BECN), doesn't believe that BECN is the most obvious takeout candidate for QXO (QXO) to purchase.  \"BECN could provide the foundation for QXO to consolidate the building products distribution industry, but it's not the most obvious asset we see QXO acquiring,\" Ng wrote. Beacon (BECN) shares jumped 10% on Monday after the WSJ report of the QXO takeover offer.
