Delta Air Lines to Serve Shake Shack Cheeseburgers Onboard Starting Dec. 1

MT Newswires Live2024-11-19

Delta Air Lines (DAL) said Tuesday that first class travelers on selected flights leaving Boston can pre-order Shake Shack (SHAK) cheeseburgers to eat onboard beginning Dec. 1.

Passengers in the first class section on routes exceeding 900 miles can avail of this service, which is expected to expand to other US routes throughout 2025, the carrier said.

Delta said the new collaboration builds on a longstanding partnership with privately held Union Square Hospitality Group and its founder and executive chairman Danny Meyer, who also helped launch Shake Shack.

Financial details weren't provided.

Delta shares were slightly lower in recent trading Tuesday morning, while Shake Shack rose 1.4%.
