Opera Collaborates With Spotify for Default Music Player

Opera (OPRA) said Tuesday it has collaborated with Spotify Technology (SPOT) under which the latter becomes the default streaming service within Opera One's Music Player.

Financial terms weren't disclosed.

Additionally, Opera said that new subscribers for Opera One in select regions will have Spotify Premium without any charges for two to three months in the Music Player from the Opera One R2 sidebar.

The promotion will be rolled out to Opera for Android early next year, Opera said.
