Iron Mountain (IRM) purchased two data center development sites in Virginia to bolster capacity by 350 megawatts to 1.2 gigawatts globally.
The acquisitions include a 66-acre development site in Richmond with 200 MW of capacity and a 40-acre site in Manassas with 150 MW of capacity, the company said Monday in a statement.
The acquisition prices and the sellers weren't disclosed.
