Hungary is studying the effect of new U.S. sanctions on Gazprombank

BUDAPEST, Nov 21 (Reuters) - Hungary's foreign ministry is studying the effect of new U.S. sanctions against Russia's Gazprombank and will contact its natural gas supplier if needed, the ministry said in an emailed reply to Reuters on Thursday.

Under a 15-year deal signed in 2021, Hungary receives 4.5 billion cubic metres (bcm) from Russia supplied by Gazprom.
