Dow Jones11-22 05:49

2149 GMT - Australia's S&P/ASX 200 looks set for a strong start to the week's final trading session, following a largely positive lead by U.S. equities. ASX futures are up by 0.9%, suggesting that the benchmark index should rally from consecutive declines and add to its gains from earlier in the week. Ahead of the open, fashion jewelry retailer Lovisa said same-store sales were up 1% over the first 20 weeks of its fiscal year. In the U.S., the DJIA added almost 1.1% amid gains by shares of Salesforce, IBM and Goldman Sachs. The S&P 500 gained 0.5%, but the Nasdaq Composite was flat, weighed by weakness in shares of Alphabet. (stuart.condie@wsj.com)
