Trade Desk (TTD) said Wednesday it has developed a new streaming TV operating system that aims to address issues such as user experience frustrations and inefficient advertising supply chains.
The new OS called Ventura will provide users with an engaging experience through fewer and more relevant ads and publishers a maximum return on investment by minimizing supply chain hops and costs, the Trade Desk said.
The company said it expects original equipment manufacturers and other streaming TV aggregators to deploy Ventura as early as next year.
Shares of Trade Desk were up 3.9% in recent trading.
