Banco BBVA Argentina (BBAR) late Wednesday reported Q3 earnings of 162.68 Brazilian reais ($28.17) per diluted share compared with 15.72 reais a year earlier.
Two analysts polled by FactSet expected 142.61 reais.
Net interest income for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was 460.26 billion reais, compared with 835.03 billion reais a year earlier.
