Revenue for the AI search company climbed 18% year over year and Cloud revenue surged 25%. It also beat market expectations across the board. For the quarter ended October 31, Elastic reported adjusted earnings per share of $0.59, which was much more than the consensus estimate of $0.38. The company reported revenue of $365.4M, which also topped the estimate of $354.27M. Looking ahead to the third quarter, the search AI company expects adjusted earnings per share ranging from $0.46 to $0.48, which was more than the estimate of $0.40. Elastic increased its full-year earnings per share to now range from $1.68 to $1.72 compared to prior guidance of $1.52 to $1.56. Full-year revenue expectations were raised to range from $1.45B to $1.46B compared to previous guidance of $1.44B. \"In Q2 we saw strong customer commitments with key wins across all our solution areas, with continued momentum in GenAI and platform consolidation,\" said Elastic CEO Ash Kulkarni. \"Our clear product differentiation, and our relentless pace of innovation is helping us become a natural choice for customers building GenAI applications.\" Elastic also announced its chief financial officer, Janesh Moorjani, plans to leave the company next month to pursue another opportunity.
